Challenge 3: Drawing PadThe Challenge
Calling all artists! Today, we are going to create a drawing of something that represents summer for you. It can be anything that means summer (glasses of lemonade, 4th of July fireworks, a beach in Fiji, etc.). To share, you will create a Kidblog post about your experience featuring your artwork. The text of the post will include your thoughts about using the tools in Drawing Pad to make a picture that is quintessentially summer! The Steps (also see the .PDF file on the right for directions with screenshots)
The Tool Drawing Pad is a low-cost, easy to use mobile art studio. It offers many tools (crayons, colored pencils, stickers, roller pens, backgrounds, smudge tools, etc.) for use in creating original artwork. Not only is it simple to use, work created in Drawing Pad can be exported to the camera roll so that student work can be used in almost any other app. The Possibilities Students can create original images for slideshows, movies, inquiry projects, etc. They can import content-related photos and make them their own. Drawing Pad can be used for illustrations, diagrams, mental images, and more. Further Exploration Anywhere you can use an image, you can use something you made in Drawing Pad. You could create a series of images and use them in iMovie or SonicPics to make a narrated slideshow of your ideal summer! Try importing multiple photos to a drawing by using the Stickers tab. |
