Challenge 4: SkitchThe Challenge
For your next adventure, you will be taking a photo of a place or thing in your home, yard, classroom, or community and marking it up with Skitch. You can take the photo with the Camera app, use a photo you already have, or capture the photo directly in Skitch. The Steps
The Tool Skitch is a free, easy to use photo annotator. It offers tools for marking photos with circles, rectangles, arrows, text labels, map pins, and emoticons. You can also pixelate areas of photos or mark with a highlighter or pen. Skitch integrates directly with Evernote, for those of you who are Evernote users! The Possibilities Students can mark up a photo of text or a website screen shot. They can import content-related photos and mark them up with questions and wonders. They can take a photo of work they’ve done and annotate with their reflections. They can create diagrams to show their learning. Further Exploration Create a new Skitch and try one of the other options for your background. In addition to using a photo, you can also get instant snapshots of webpages or maps to annotate. PDF annotation is an option.. but sadly, only with an in-app purchase. Try it out if you're so inspired! |
